Rutland County’s Roger Overton battled to victory in the Bogey Cup taking full advantage of the calm conditions early in his round. As the wind stated to whip across the course Taff Magill used his experience of the conditions to challenge Overton but just failed on countback - both players on +2. Mike Powell edged 3^rd spot on countback   ahead of a further group of 4 on +1.

Club Champion Ollie Freckingham added to his fine season partnering John Peyser to the Summer Doubles Knockout beating Chris Palmer and Craig Allan by 3 and 2.

Fred Shorrock shot 41 points to win the Monthly Stableford ahead of Keith Sargeson’s 40 pts. Alastair Scott, still in his shorts, was third on 38 points. Div 2 was won by Geoff Osborne with 41 pts, Roy armitage 2^nd on 40 points and Gill Glenister 3^rd with 38 pts after countback. Colin Brown and Alan Weedon know that Barry Malthouse lies in wait for the winner of their Senior Singles K/O semi-final clash. Barry just pipped David Wilson in their semi-final winning a tight match on the first extra hole. The Seniors ‘All 3’ comp was won by Joe Smith, Mike Glenister and John Downey with 98 points.
