GAIL'S GAME PIE
Game is a speciality at Rutland County and there is nothing more satisfying and tasty than Gail's Homemade Game Pie.
She uses local game including Venison, Pheasant, Duck and Partridge, all braised in a red wine sauce and topped with a puff pastry lid.
Each pie is served at your table with a big bowl of chips, it will satisfy four people so you can eat it all or take some home.
